Calie Bain

Mamá/Eve

Calie Bain is over-the-moon excited to be combining her love of Spanish and Theatre to make art again! Some of her recent credits include Common Wealth / Common Debt (The Conciliation Lab), The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Dogtown Dance), and Sense and Sensibility and the Wolves (VCUarts Theatre). She especially wants to thank all the artists who have continued to find new, innovative ways to create during this time that inspire her daily, and her educators who have helped to encourage and shape her into a more confident and grounded artist.

Will Cardozo

Juan/Cinturita

William Cardozo (he/him) is a senior BFA performance major at VCU. You have seen him in last year's production of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Judge/Caiaphas), The Three Musketeers (Porthos), or more recently in Grand Concourse (Oscar). He is beyond excited to be working with Drewe on another fantastic show, and would like to thank all his friends and family for their endless support!

Andrés Fontan

Adam

Andres is a second year at VCU, and this is his first professional production. He likes to perform improv, help friends make music, and work on his podcast. This play's cultural aspects are one of the many things that make it so special to him. Much love to everyone in the cast, crew, and staff.

Milena Gutierrez

Owner/Maid

Milena is a sophomore at VCU, working towards her BA in theatre, while double majoring in English and minoring in Education. Her hope after she graduates is to be a high school theatre educator. She has done theatre since high school but this is her first role in Richmond! She is super excited to be a part of a show with a great cast, while exploring her Mexican heritage!

Avery Michael Johnson

Salesman/Announcer/Hawker/MC

Avery Michael Johnson is an actor and student studying Theatre Performance at Virginia Commonwealth University. Recent credits include The Consent Project, Generation Z with Shafer Alliance Laboratory Theatre, and At the Full Yum with Signature Theatre. He has also recently been featured in the short film, Blue Light Past, On Thy Brother's Path by F.A.D.E.D. Productions. Avery is excited to be a part of this wonderful production and thanks his friends and family for their continuous love and support.

Lina has been acting most of her life and she's so excited for her first filmed production. She hopes you enjoy El Eterno Feminino!

Celeste Taica

Lupita

Celeste Taica (she/her) is recent graduate of VCU with a BFA in performance. She is ecstatic to return to the stage with a brilliant cast and crew to explore the existence of the feminine being. Recent credits include Machinal and Sense and Sensibility with VCUarts Theatre and Stella Goes to Mars with VCUarts Cinema. She would like to leave the audience with a quote from Carmen Maria Machado: “Being a woman is inherently uncanny. Your humanity is liminal; your body is forfeit; your mind is doubted as a matter of course. You exist in the periphery, and I think many women writers can’t help but respond to that state.”
