Erin Allen is a freshman Theatre Design major with a focus on costume design at Virginia Commonwealth University. She began designing costumes for her high school theatre program in 2016 and is excited to continue her costume design journey with El Eterno Femenino.

Jason Burns is a second year lighting designer at VCU. Favorite credits include LD for Twelfth Night (SALT), and ALD for The Santa's Closet, Ada and the Engine (SALT), and You Got Older (SALT).

Casey Clauberg

Production Stage Manager

Casey Clauberg is getting a BFA in Theatre with a concentration in Stage Management as well as a major in psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University. This will be his first professional theatre experience, and he is very excited to share with everyone. Casey has previously worked on shows such as Spring Awakening (Production Assistant), Ada and the Engine (Assistant Stage Manager), and Mamma Mia! (Production Stage Manager). He would love to thank his friends and family for working with his busy schedule and hopes you all enjoy the show!

Sarah Cook

Scenic Designer

Sarah Cook is a second year student pursuing her BFA at VCU in Theatre with a concentration in Scenic Design. She is absolutely thrilled to finally see El Eterno Femenino come to life! Her previous credits include: Assistant paint charge in Sense and Sensibility (VCUarts Theatre), and crew on Machinal (VCUarts Theatre). She is currently also designingThe Dentist (VCUarts Theatre). Liza Hazelwood (she/her) is a filmmaker working primarily in the documentary and/or experimental mode. She has previously worked with the Shafer Alliance Laboratory Theatre, the American Library Association, plain china: National Anthology of the Best Undergraduate Writing, and VCU Libraries. Kylee Márquez-Downie

Kylee Márquez-Downie is thrilled to be bringing this bilingual production to life! She has recently been seen as Dolly Proton in Santa’s Enchanted Workshop (VA Rep), Cosette in Les Misèrables (Westfield Summer Stage), and currently starring as Wendla in VCU’s Mainstage production of Spring Awakening. Sterling Niemann

Costume Designer

Sterling Niemann is a second year costume design major at Virginia Commonwealth University. She has worked most recently as a wardrobe manager for VCU Theatre's She Kills Monsters. She has worked professionally as a dresser and stitcher for Keegan Theatre in Washington D.C. Some of her design credits include Ching Chong Chinaman (VCU Salt), Monty Python’s Spamalot, and Pippin (Rambunctious Theatre Company). She is elated to be a part of El Eterno Feminino!

Austyn Nowell is thrilled to be the ALD for the first time under Jason Burns. He is a freshman at VCU, majoring in technical theatre with a focus in lighting design. Past designer credits include Into The Woods, Hairspray, and Annie.

Bryce Pride

Film Crew

Bryce Pride (she/her) is a relatively new filmmaker. Her main focus is on pre-production and some aspects of production. She has spent a semester working as a production assistant for Eco Hero kids (a show that teaches children about the environment around them). She also writes short coming of age, contemporary, and romance films.

Nathan Rankin

Assistant Scenic Designer

Nathan is a third year VCUarts student pursuing his BA in Theatre. While Nathan has spent most of his time backstage in educational theatre, he has plenty of professional experience at theme parks across the East Coast! Previous experience include; Master Carpenter in Spring Awakening (VCUarts), Assistant Props in Sense and Sensibility (VCUarts), Dancer in Grand Carnivale (Kings Dominion, VA and Dorney Park, PA), and Ice Prince in WinterFest (Kings Dominion, VA). In 2019, Nathan won a CAPPIES Award for Best Hair and Makeup in The Addams Family (Osbourn Park High School). Nathan would like to thank his best friend, Sarah Cook, for giving him the opportunity to be her Assistant Scenic Designer for El Eterno Femenino. He hopes that everyone enjoys the show! Mia Richards

Assistant Director

Mia Richards is a Theatre major who later intends on double majoring in Mass Communications at Virginia Commonwealth University. While this is her first professional directional debut, they have previously directed/assistant directed shows such as You Make the Difference (VCU Salt), The Tempest, Fantastic Mr. Fox, and her self-written show La Lune. (Thomas Dale HS). Mia's favorite acting credentials include Judy Haynes in White Christmas (TDHS), Ophelia in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (Quill), and Miranda U/S in The Tempest (Quill). Enjoy the show!
